Rocky's TMC Plain Toe Boot features the TMC Comfort Sole, which is guaranteed for one full year. This high-traction sole features a thermal plastic rubber outer layer for abrasion resistance and a softer middle urethane layer for comfort.

A key comfort feature of Rocky Boot stock # 5010 is its contoured removable polyurethane insole that provides direct underfoot cushioning. The underfoot cushioning of the 5010 work boot is further enhanced by the lightweight polyurethane material that is used in its midsole and TPU outsole. Good boots, crazy mark-up pricing

I love these boots, they break in easily and are perfect for carriers who have weak ankles, adding extra support and protection there. The price on this site is marked-up and it would be better to buy them from Rocky’s site, if they have your size. Unfortunately, my size is common and they are difficult to find without having to eat up your allowance and/or your out of pocket expense. I can see charging an extra ten to fifteen dollars, but to have an additional 20 to 25? I’ll be looking for them elsewhere, thank you.

Expected better quality

The boots are comfortable, but the build quality is not great. I've purchased these boots 3 times now and each one has come apart at the seams. I think it's the glue they use.

Great Boot

Boots are as readily broke in as the shoes. I have yet to have any kind of 'break-in' time. I will continue to purchase these boots and highly recommend.
